The Grid sent me off to the playground called City Hall to photograph Kristyn Wong-Tam, Toronto’s very cool City Councillor. Kristyn has experienced a lot of admirable things in her life, she’s interesting to talk to AND she owns a burrito shop here in Toronto.. I’m sold!
Above are some out-takes from the shoot.

I had the pleasure of photographing Mr. Singh, the 100 year old marathoner. Its interesting interacting with someone who has lived so long. It was truly great to meet him and take his photo.

Woodies and Belles is a fashion blog that consists of me photographing the fashionable figures that hang in Trinity Bellwoods park. I live so close and ended up gawking at how cool everyone looks all the time, so I figured, why not!?

I photographed Kelley Castle, the feisty dean at U of T for The Grid’s Q&A section. She is hilarious and sarcastic, but was quite subdued for our photo shoot due to her ungratified rep of being “the feisty dean”..

I had the pleasure to work with an amazing crew in Vancouver last month. We photographed model, Alicia in the back-alley ways of Vancouver (which were very gritty and very smelly). This photo is featured on Pushforward blog. More photos from the series to come.

YUM! The Grid sent me out to photograph Andrea Horwath at The Big Chill on College St. I got there early and watched the security men all around the premises dipping their spoons in vibrant blue, orange, pink ice cream, then going for seconds. The orange ice cream Andrea was eating, is meant to symbolize the colour of the NDP, though a delicious choice, it wasn’t just a coincidence.

I spent some time in New York and Vancouver this month. I took a few photos during my stay, with the picture above being one of them. Click on the image above to see it larger, and be sure to check the rest of them out here.

The Grid had me photograph ‘celebrities trying not to look like celebrities’ for their TIFF issue this week. Yorkville was our main stop! Click the image above for a close up view.

Shot Brad Lamb, condo-king, for The Grid this week. He is a very tall (but seemingly gentle) man.

Was extremely excited to work with Corrine Anestopoulos, creator of jewelry brand Biko and designer, Karolina Loboda from the White Room, on this season’s look book for Biko. We shot in a sweet underground, kitschy, hipster bar called Unloveable, which fit quite well with Biko’s nostalgic pieces. Above is a group shot of some of the amazingly fun team, as well as a shot featured in the look book!

A few posts ago, I wrote about the photoshoot I did with Paper People Clothing and how we rode bikes around the West end neighborhoods in Toronto. Sounds pretty fun, right? This shot happens to be my favourite. View it featured on pushforward blog.
